Dr. Michael Huey (Mike) is originally from Southern California; he graduated from the University of California, San Diego with a degree in Biochemistry/Cell Biology in 1982. He then completed his dental education at the Washington University School of Dental Medicine, St. Louis in 1986 and a General Practice Residency at Naval Hospital San Diego. From 1986 to 1992 Dr. Huey was a general dentist in the Navy. He received his certificate in Endodontics from the Naval Dental School, Bethesda, MD in 1994.

 

He is a past President of both the Kitsap County Dental Society and the Washington State Association of Endodontists.

He is an Affiliate Assistant Professor at the University of Washington, School of Dentistry, graduate Endodontics Department. 

 

Community involvement includes serving on the board of directors of the Admiral Theatre, the Washington State Science and Engineering Fair  (President and Head Judge), Service with a Smile, and he is a Cub Scout CubMaster with Pack 4539..

 

Professional involvement includes membership in the AAE, ADA, Kitsap County Dental Society, and service on multiple committees of the Washington State Dental Association. Dr Huey has also been a mentor of an Endodontic study club since 1992.

 

Honors include, Fellow, Pierre Fauchard Academy.
